Mr. Mario holds a Computing Diploma from Prodata Computing Institute Zimbabwe. He has an extensive amount of experience as an entrepreneur and in senior executive roles in technology companies. Mr. Mario worked for Major Companies in Angola, such as Angola Telecom, MS Telcom and EMIS.I In 2008, Mr. Mario Co-Founded OMNIASSIST. Shortly after founding OMNIASSIST,  he served as the company's CEO until 2020, when it was partially acquired by KLOTEN HOLDING. After that acquisition, OMNIASSIST rebranded as NEONET, and Mr. Mario was appointed as the company's CEO.

 

Through the course of his time as NEONET's CEO, he led the construction project of a 1000 FTTH Internet network and also contributed to the creation of a very stable enterprise business unit, which now provides Internet to more than 5k users, and is also expanding in the direction of areas that were previously uncovered due to a lack of economic attractiveness, as believed by existing ISP players. That project became one of the fastest growing businesses of the KLOTEN HOLDING portfolio, and is now the fastest growing ISP provider in the Zango Area.

Constantly looking for a new challenge, Mr. Mario joined KLOTEN HOLDING as a Board Member, bringing together his experience of the past two decades. Mr. Mario excels in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to increase the revenue & margins of the company, by monitoring industry trends and developments to anticipate and manage risks. Mr. Mario has exceptional leadership skills, he is also an effective communicator and a team motivator who fosters productivity with integrity. Working closely with the Board and with the CEO, Mr. Mario has embraced the mission of KLOTEN HOLDING to bring development through job creation and opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs.
